Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2009. She attended the University of Utah – S.J. Quinney College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2014. Jennifer began working with RMIC as a law student in 2012. She was awarded the Spurgeon Public Interest Fellowship and was a Teaching Assistant for the Innocence Clinic throughout the 2013-2014 academic year. She officially joined RMIC’s staff in 2014 and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Utah – S.J. Quinney College of Law.
Jennifer has been recognized for her work by the Utah State Bar as the Young Lawyer of the Year in 2019 and was nominated for the Utah Nonprofit Association’s 2023 Hall of Fame. As Managing Attorney, Jennifer oversees all of RMIC’s cases in investigation and litigation. She also supervises law student interns at RMIC’s cooperating law schools, including the S.J. Quinney College of Law, William S. Boyd School of Law, and the University of Wyoming College of Law, among others. Jennifer is licensed to practice law in Utah and Nevada.
